Wildberry Farm Vineyard
Wildberry Farm Vineyard, planted in 1997 is the main fruit source of the Flying Fish Cove brand. Â
Located in the Wilyabrup sub-region of Margaret River where conditions are ideal for ripening Cabernet and Chardonnay.
Vines run east west across a gently sloping vale which faces to the north-east on Forrest Grove soils of gravelly sandy loam.
The ancient shallow soils naturally restrict vigour and yields of the vines to produce small amounts of intensely flavoured wines.
The vineyard is less than two kilometres from the Indian Ocean and ripening is moderated by the afternoon summer saline breezes.
