Our 2025 Butter Chardonnay is bright lemon gold, an opulent full bodied wine with a rich bouquet of butterscotch and caramel with a ripe peach and nectarine palate. The creamy toasty vanilla bean custard finish is framed with lemon curd acidity.

WINEMAKERS NOTES

Winemaking

Clone 95 from Wilyabrup. Fruit picked ripe in the cool of
night. Soft pressing to create a long fine palate. Barrel matured with malolactic fermentation. Aged on yeast lees and stirred to create layers of texture with a focus on a creamy rich mouthfeel.

Viticulture

Northeast aspect on cane pruned and grown on the
Wildberry Farms Vineyard in Wilyabrup. Healthy canopy
management allows for dappled light penetration and minimal direct sun on the fruit zone. This dappled light creates a slow and tempered ripening that leads to vibrant and perfumed berry development, perfect for Chardonnay production.
