Nose: Intense aromatics of pear, white flowers, wet stone, and lemon zest. A soft note of baking spices completes a complex and aromatic bouquet.
Colour: Bright pale straw.
Palate: A fresh and medium bodied wine with soft acidity and a glossy, textural palate. Bright lemon and succulent stonefruit flavours meld with the rich palate texture to deliver a fresh and expressive example of this Mediterranean variety.

Winemaking

With this being the first Fiano we have made, the
decision was taken to keep things simple, allowing the fruit to shine. The fruit was lighlty pressed to tank and clarified prior to fermentation. Moderate temperature through the fermentation allow for maximum fruit and aroma retention. A short period on lees has followed prior to clarification and bottling in July 2026.

Viticulture

The cooler southern climes of Mt Barker were chosen to
source our Fiano fruit as we are chasing freshness and vitality. The fruit is grown on a vertical shoot positioned trellis in the Mt barker sub-region of the Great Southern area of western Australia. Moderate yields and dappled sunlight exposure ensure excellent flavour development and concentration.
